The Director of the Research and Development Center at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Al-Kharj, Dr. Thamer bin Suleiman Al-Mneef, received on Tuesday, Shawwal 26, 1447 AH, corresponding to April 14, 2026, a delegation from the Saudi company Three Lines, at the center's headquarters in Al-Kharj.
The visit began with a welcoming meeting, during which Dr. Thamer Al-Mneef emphasized the importance of partnerships and cooperation with the private sector to support the research, development, and innovation ecosystem. He reviewed the center's role in developing emerging technologies and empowering national competencies in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He also highlighted the most prominent achievements made by the center since its establishment and the successes it has accomplished within a short period.
Following that, the delegation took a field tour that included the center's laboratories and facilities. The tour began at the Advanced Mechanical Manufacturing Laboratory, where the visitors viewed the equipment and machinery used in advanced manufacturing processes, as well as learned about their technical capabilities and operational specifications
The tour also included the Applied Electronics and Electromagnetics Laboratory, where the delegation was introduced to the laboratory's various departments and their work mechanisms. These included the digital circuit programming department, the high-frequency electronics department, the electronic board printing department, and the biomedical department. During the visit, the delegation reviewed a number of products and innovations developed by the center with the participation of engineers and student trainees.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation of the Saudi company Three Lines praised the advanced technical capabilities, qualitative projects, and innovative products they observed, expressing their admiration for the level achieved by the Research and Development Center and the supportive environment it provides for research, innovation, and technical development.
