Laboratories
Applied Electromagnetics and Electronics Laboratory is one of the laboratories of the Research and Development Centre at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, where devices and equipment that operate in high frequencies are studied and developed, as high-frequency electromagnetic waves have a major role in sending and receiving data and energy wirelessly. The laboratory contains the latest simulation software for high-frequency electrical circuits, which helps in the process of designing these circuits. In addition, the laboratory is equipped with the latest printed circuit boards (PCB) manufacturing devices to be able to build some prototypes. Finally, the laboratory contains the latest electromagnetic waves measuring devices to test the prototypes that have been manufactured.
The Robotics and Drones Lab is one of the laboratories of the Research and Development Centre at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, where robots and drones are designed. In drones, the frame of the aircraft is designed, and the appropriate electronic parts are selected based on the payload and the application in which it will be used, in addition to its programming. In this laboratory, robots are also designed, starting from the casing, and passing through the design of the electronic circuit responsible for operating this robot and finally the programming process.
The manufacturing laboratory is one of the laboratories of the Research and Development Centre at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, where this laboratory is one of the laboratories supporting the rest of the laboratories in the centre, where components, parts, casings, and some prototypes needed by other laboratories in the centre are manufactured there. The laboratory contains various manufacturing devices, including 3D printers of various specifications and sizes. Secondly metal forming devices like CNC Devices, and some other devices.
The Biomedical Laboratory is one of the laboratories of the Research and Development Centre at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, where electronics and electromagnetism are applied in applications that serve the medical community.
